Gov't To Allow Sugar Importation To End Shortage

Speaking during a prayers' day for standard eight KCPE candidates at Kapsabet highlands school in Nandi County, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Felix Koskei said that the sugar shortage was caused by the closing down of Mumias Sugar Company and West Kenya sugar factories for maintenance. Former Safaricom CEO Michael Joseph has been appointed marketing advisor for an auto firm that has started selling a Kenyan-made vehicle touted as Africa’s cheapest car.
