Micro Finance Institution Faulu Kenya has designed a new loan product that will be charging a low interest rate of 1.5%. This loan is designed for Civil servants and employees of Teachers Service Commission.

To access the loans, one would have to produce original copies of identification documents and certified copies of the current three original payslips. An applicant must also produce a staff identity card for proof.

On top of giving low income loans, the micro finance institution allows borrowers with good payment habits to top up their loans. On this instances, Faulu gives the borrower interest waivers in the already existing loans.
