DStv mobile has lowered the price of a Walka TV from Ksh 10,500 to Ksh 7,500 and Drifta from Ksh 7,500 to Ksh 4,500.
As posted in the Daily Nation Business column, DStv-Mobile manager Felix Kyengo said the cut in prices is part of the firms vision to increase its customer base and tap into the forthcoming London Olympics beginning on July 27.
A Drifta is a mobile decoder that receives the DVB-H broadcast signal, converts it into Wi-Fi and relays it to Wi-Fi enabled viewing devices such as your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You get to watch DStv channels from the comfort of your computer, tablet or Wi-Fi enabled smartphone.
Walker TV, on the other hand, is a hand held gadget with a 3.5 inch screen and inbuilt speakers that give you access to DStv channels anywhere in Nairobi and Mombasa.

The above devices are specifically designed for those on the move, giving them access to DStv entertainment from any place in Nairobi and Mombasa.
