Zuku has announced plans to expand its coverage into Eastern and Northern parts of Nairobi.

Announcing the new Zuku packages, Zuku Triple Play Managing Director Kamande Muiruri said, “Starting this August we are planning to roll-out our cable connection in Eastern part of Nairobi. This will cover, Imara Daima, Dohnholm, Embakasi and Buruburu. We will also extend our network to Runda,”

Zuku has earmarked Kiambu and Limuru as areas to venture into next year.

The number of homes currently covered by Zuku has risen to 100,000. These are in Langata, Otiende, Nairobi Dam, Madaraka, South B and South C, Kilimani, Lavington, Westlands, Parklands and Ngara.

Zuku’s expansion is backed by a USD 100 million investment kitty it has secured from private equity funds and loan financing that will enable it rollout its Triple Play serves across Nairobi.
