Mobile Communications service providers are deliberately delaying the process of disconnecting unregistered SIM cards to give room for users to register
According insiders requesting anonymity say the operators have started with a cleanup exercise to terminate inactive unregistered SIM numbers resulting in the numbers so far declared as switched off.
2. Ballot Papers Will be Ready For Poll - IEBC
Ballot papers and materials required in the March 4 General Election will be ready before the poll, the electoral commission boss has said. Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairman Issack Hassan told the Nation last Friday that the UK firm hired to print ballot papers had properly sub-contracted two other companies.

The Treasury has withdrawn Sh1.5 billion from the Immigration ministry which was meant to buy new identity card processing machines after the tendering process failed.
