Stocks to watch today include:
- Mumias Sugar Limited: News of their new managing director is expected to affect how the share performs in today and tomorrow's trading. The counter had 3.43 million shares traded yesterday.
- Kenya Airways: The share remains of interest with it trading at the rights price (KES 14), making the decision for many shareholders to exercise their rights trickier than would have been desired.
- Olympia Capital: The counter yesterday had an 8.7% gain on its share to close at KES 3.75. The day before, the share had a 8.69% increase to close at KES 3.45. Is this a fluke or is there something to see here? Stay tuned for some insights.
- Scangroup Limited: The market services company released its financial results boasting a 42% rise in profits (read that story here). This is sure to affect the share, with upward pressure on the stock expected.
