Safaricom Limited was again the day's biggest mover with 5.91 million shares being traded in the session with a turnover of KES 19.68 million. The share closed 5 cents up at KES 3.30. Safaricom was followed by KCB with 1.84 million shares being traded with a value of KES 43.61 million, closing 25 cents up at KES 23.75. Cooperative Bank had 899,000 shares being traded with a value of KES 11.7 million, closing 5 cents up at KES 13. East African Breweries Limited however had the most turnover in today's trading with 277,200 shares being traded but resulting in a turnover of KES 57.92 million shillings closing the day at KES 208. It is interesting to note that, while Mumias Sugar was the day's biggest gainer at 8.82%, only 227,300 shares were traded. No KQ rights were bought today.
