Barclays Bank of Kenya's Business Club members will be travelling cheaper on their international trip program organized by the Bank. The club is a section of the banks' customers who access exclusive privileges in the banks' services.
Speaking at the flagging off vans carrying 400 members of the club to Amboseli National park, Barclays Bank Regional Managing Director Adan Mohamed said the bank will be organizing for cheaper rates with airlines and hotels for its members for the trips. At the event, the International Trips/Events Calender for 2012 was also unveiled.
"We would like to bring our customers closer to the services they need, and in a cheap way too and that is why we will make sure they have the best deals in hotels and travel expenses." Mohamed said, adding that they will take care of visa requirements for the customers travelling on the program.
This years' trip will see members of the Barclays business club go to Egypt, Israel, United Kingdom and Australia among others. During the trips, entrepreneurs attend forums and seminars organized by the bank on key aspects of the various industries they operate in. These include Agriculture, Real estate development, ICT among others.
