Hemingways, one of the Kenya’s hospitality chains is set to open up a new branch in Nairobi. The 45 all en suite development, which gives patrons their very own personal butlers, will be located in Karen and is due to be unveiled sometime in March 2013.
The hotel boasts of 80 square meter bedrooms and private balconies overlooking the Ngong Hills. It has a spa and a private dining room where guests can be catered to by one of the hotel’s Michelin Star Chefs. For those who have deep pockets and a constant flow of disposable income, the hotel offers 2 Presidential Penthouse suites.
Personalized Service
The brand states that their guest-attention is personalized and sincere, with a seamless service that rivals that of many other 5 Star establishments.
“Your dedicated butler will know that you prefer Earl Grey to Assam with your scones and Cornish clotted cream,” says Hemingways Nairobi Manager, James Scott. “He’ll remember which trousers you like pressed flat and which ones need a central crease.”
Hemingways already has branches across various parts of the country including Watamu and the Mara.
While the brand strives to model itself as one of the best, it falls short of the top 10 margin because these positions are currently held by the likes of Serena, Fairmont, Intercontinental Nairobi, Diani Reef and the Sarova Stanley.
