Airtel Kenya and supermarket chain Nakumatt Holdings have today announced a countrywide reward program that will see Airtel customers get discounts when they purchase the Airtel airtime in any Nakumatt store countrywide.

Speaking at the promotion launch, Airtel Kenya managing director Mr. Shivan Bhargava said the promotion is one of the companies avenues to show gratitude to their customers.

"The promotion is one of the numerous value adding propositions that will enable our customers experience our exciting products and services. This promotion with Nakumatt will go a great way in ensuring our customers achieve more for every shilling they spend with on purchasing airtime," Bhargava said.

The one month promotion dubbed 'Fly with Airtel at Nakumatt' will reward all shoppers who buy Airtel airtime worth Ksh. 250, Ksh. 500 and Ksh. 1000 with a 15%, 20% and 25% discount respectively.

"At Nakumatt, we are actively seeking avenues to facilitate customer incentives and the partnership with Airtel is just but one way for us to jointly express our corporate gratitude to our loyal customers," Nakumatt Holdings Regional Strategy and Operations Director Mr. Thiagarajan Ramamurthy said.

Bhargava said Airtel will ensure that subscribers have access to affordable and quality communication, and service network in the company's quest to address the challenging economic times for Kenyans.
