“The micro-agents are actually local youths who have been identified to sell the product. APA took this social approach to also empower low income workers, while still availing careers for eligible youth,” APA Head of Microfinance, Fridah Mburu says. Since the youth selling the product are locally known, it becomes easy to win the trust of the members thus making them buy it.
