We have made some changes to the various stocks in the Pesa Portfolio. Rea Vipingo has made an entry while Uchumi and Mumias have been slashed following their movements of late.

The NSE 20 share index dropped 1.17% in Friday's trading, our Pesa Portfolio performed better, losing "only" 0.73% of its value. Crown Berger was our biggest gainer, up KES 2.25 while Uchumi dropped the ball, down KES 1.90. In the end, the portfolio closed KES 690 down.

Mumias Sugar yesterday increased 5 cents and Uchumi closed 30 cents up to boost the value of our portfolio. Housing Finance and Kengen however slipped slightly to dilute our gains. The NSE 20 share index performed 26% better than our Pesa Portfolio.

Barclays Bank, KCB and Kenya Re all had to go. They were losing the portfolio too much money. We however increased our holdings in Uchumi and Crown Berger as they seem prime to make us some good returns.
