There were 4.843 million KCB shares traded in 117 bids. The share rose 25 cents (1.06%) to close at KES 23.75 with a turnover of KES 116.19 million.The Safaricom Limited counter remained active in the day’s trading with 4.042 million shares exchanging hands in 176 bids. The share closed down 5 cents (1.45%) to end the week at KES 3.40. Centum Investments saw 1.204 million shares trading in 57 bids to close 10 cents down (0.67%) at KES 14.75. There were 992,400 Kenya Re shares traded in the day. The counter closed 30 cents up (2.71%) at KES 11.35. Barclays Bank was also pretty active in the day with 609,300 shares changing hands in 96 bids. The share price remainded the same.
