The NSE All-Share Index closed up 0.15 percent at 82.29 points from 82.11 points yesterday while the NSE 20-Share Index also closed up 0.15 percent at 3,802.96 points today from 3,789.33 points yesterday.

HIGHEST VOLUMES

For a second day Safaricom was the most traded share, with 6.85 million shares traded down 80,000 shares from yesterday’s 6.93 million shares. Equity Bank returned to the highest volumes this week, with 3.44 million shares traded while Kenya Commercial Bank was the third most traded share with 1.65 million shares moving across the counter. Mumias Sugar Company was the fourth most traded share with 1.01 million shares traded down 20,000 shares from yesterday’s 1.03 million shares. Co-operative Bank was fifth most traded share, with 838,800 shares traded up from 792,300 shares yesterday.
