Safaricom was the biggest mover of the session today with 13,314,300 shares exchanging hands in 166 bids. The shares price however remained fixed at KES 3.45. Equity Bank came second  with 2,433,200 shares being traded. The counter appreciated by 25 cents (1.22%) to close at KES 20.75. Cooperative Bank, another share from the banking segment moved 1,729,100 shares and closed 10 cents up to close at KES 14.10. The shares were traded in 149 bids. Kenya Re had 1,451,800 shares trading and closed 60 cents up (5.29%) at KES 11.95. KCB, yet another counter from the Banking segment moved 1,343,000 shares but remained at KES 24.25.
