Safaricom was today's session's biggest mover with 9.2 million shares changing hands within the six-hour period. The share price remained unmoved closing at KES 3.20 however. Kenya Commercial Bank had 6.97 million shares changing hands to close the session unmoved at KES 23.75. The Mumias Sugar Company counter had 5.6 million shares traded to close 20 cents up (4.17%) at KES 5, up from yesterday's close of KES 4.80. The Mumias Sugar board yesterday appointed Mr. Peter Kebati the new MD after Mr. Evans Kidero stepped down. Read more on that story here. The were 3.66 milllion Kenya Airways shares traded in today's session with 832,700 rights shares bought today.
