In today’s trading Equity Bank recorded the most shares traded with 3.23 million share exchanging hands. Next was Mumias Sugar Company with 2.29 million shares traded.  In third place was KCB with 1.76 million, the bank also held its Annual General Meeting today. After KCB was Safaricom with 1.51 million shares being transacted. Wrapping up the top five is KPLC with 750,600 shares traded.

Today the Kenya airways share continued with its upward trend rising by3.73% to close at KES 16.70. Within the six hour trading period, the share price fluctuated between KES 16.05 and KES 17.50. The Barclays Bank of Kenya share also continued rising closing at KES 13.85 per share, 2.97% higher than it did yesterday.
