In today’s trading Safaricom recorded the highest number of shares exchanging hands with 6.43 million shares being traded in 134 bids. The counter closed unmoved at KES 3.50. In second place was KCB with 2.781 million shares. These were exchanged in 102 bids and the counter closed 0.25% down at KES 23.25 per share. Next was Mumias Sugar Company, the sugar manufacturer close1.61% up at KES 6.30 with 1.052 million shares being traded. Equity Bank traded 1.0197 million shares in 76 bids to close at KES 22.75, the same level at which it closed yesterday. Finally was KenolKobil with 859,000 shares traded in 62 bids. The oil retailer closed 9.20% up at KES 14.25 per share.
