In today’s trading Safaricom registered the highest number of shares traded with 10.19 million shares changing hands. Next was Mumias Sugar Company with 1.69 million shares traded. KCB had 1.31 million shares traded on the backdrop of yesterday’s dividend announcement by the Board of Directors. Uchumi had 894,000 shares traded as investors took keen interest in the share due the recent upward trend the share has been exhibiting. To wrap up the top five was Equity Bank with 686,600 shares traded.
