Safaricom was the day’s biggest mover with 24,196,800 shares being traded in the day with a turnover of KES 82.26 million. The share closed 5 cents up (1.49%) at KES 3.40. The Mumias Sugar counter was active today with 3.16 million shares being traded in the day, the counter closing at KES 5.65, 35 cents higher (6.6%) from the previous day’s trading. There were 1.67 million EABL shares traded in the day with the share closing KES 7 (3.35%) higher than the previous session at KES 216. The share now has a market capitalisation of KES 170.02 billion. KCB had 1.67 million shares being traded in the day in 124 bids to close 75 cents up (3.3%) at KES 23.50. Equity Bank had 1.075 million shares being tradedcin 70 trades. The counter closed 25 cents lower (1.19%) than the previous day, closing at KES 20.75.
