Safaricom was the day’s biggest mover with 11.02 million shares exchanging hands over the day in 154 bids. The share closed at KES 3.50, 5 cents up (1.45%) from the previous session’s closing price. There were 6.78 million Equity Bank shares traded today within the six-hour session with the share closing as it opened at KES 20.75. 1.77 million Mumias Sugar Company shares were traded in the day with the share closing 5 cents down (0.86%) from its previous close of KES 5.75 in 77 bids. Kenya Power had 1.58 million shares traded today in 40 bids, the electricity marketer and distributor closing 5 cents down (0.32%) at KES 15.40.
