In today’s trading Barclays Bank of Kenya was observed t be the bigges mover with 4.8 million shares exchanging hands. KCB came in second with 3.01 million shares being traded. The national reinsurer Kenya-Re came third recording trading of 2.16 million shares. Safaricom traded 2.02 million shares during the six hour trading period, this is one of the lower counts we have observed over the last few weeks. Finally, to close the top five we have Uchumi Supermarkets which traded 1.35 million shares.
