Closing Bell: Crown Paints Continues To Perform Well In the Market

Liberty Kenya Holdings Limited was the top gainer at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). The counter registered a gain of 9.78% to end the day at KES 25.25. This was a KES 2.25 gain in share price.

Crown Paints was the second top gainer at the exchange. The counter registered a gain of 9.42% to end the day at KES 151.00. This is a KES 13.00 gain in share price.

Crown Paints last week led the gainers at the stock market on the back of a bonus share issue announcement. It continues to perform well at the start of this week despite the recent release of its disappointing full-year 2014 results which saw net profit drop by a massive 91 per cent to Sh19.7 million compared to Sh213.8 million in 2013.
