Closing Bell: Total Kenya Top Gainer While Britam Continues to Drop

Total Kenya Limited was the top gainer at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). The counter registered a gain of 10% to end the day at KES 24.75. This is a KES 2.25 gain per share.

Britam continues its drop in share price for the fourth day in a row and holds the lead in being the worst performer in the exchange. The counter registered a further drop of 8.99% to end the day at KES 20.25. This is a KES 2.00 loss per share.

 

The winners:

The other top gainers were: Crown Paints Kenya Limited (BERG), Carbacid Investments Limited (CARB), Transcentury Limited (TCL) and Eveready East Africa Limited (EVRD). Each closed at KES 110.00, 21.50, 17.65 and 4.20 respectively.
