Closing Bell:Unga Group Limited Top Gainer as Standard Group Declines.

Unga Group Limited (UNGA) was the top gainer at the NSE. It gained 8.57% to close the day at KES 47.50 which was a KES 3.75 gain in share price.

Standard Group Limited (SGL) was the top loser with a drop of 8.90% to close the day at KES 33.25 which was a KES 3.25 drop in share price.

Safaricom Limited was the most traded share at the NSE. It traded 21,378,500 shares which was 77.1% of all traded shares in the market.

The other top gainers of the day were: National Bank of Kenya (NBK), Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), Scangroup Limited (SCAN) and Eveready East Africa (EVRD). Each closed at KES 21.25, 21.50, 39.00 and 4.25 respectively.
