Do You Trust Your Shopkeeper?

When was the last time you went to your local shop, bought bread and counted change? Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe the shopkeeper is making a killing out of your laxity?  Say for instance, he notices that you do not confirm the change, and he decides to be keeping 5/- every time.  That might not be a lot of money to you, but imagine him doing that to 10 people in a day. Can you trust your shopkeeper?

We have all had instances where the shopkeeper has had a rough day, and he mistakenly gives us more or less change. They are human. They make mistakes. That they are human means they can be malicious as well. He can sell you Unga at an extra 5/- than the normal, and you might not even notice the difference. Sometimes we are too preoccupied with stuff that we don’t give these ‘petty’ things a thought.

Tell me though; do you trust your shopkeeper?
