Land experts have warned Kenyans who are thinking of buying land in the area, saying that no one has a specific title for land in Turkana. Land Development and Governance Institute directors Ibrahim Mwathane and Mwenda Makathimo have told Kenyans to hold their horses, saying that most of Turkana land is trust land. Speaking to the Standard Newspaper, the experts have discouraged the emerging farfetched expectations based on this recent discovery.
