From the above, it is evident that the Kenya shilling had a good day, strengthening against most major currencies. Despite this, the Kenya shilling weakened against the US Dollar, down 0.015% with Kenyans having to pay slightly more for the greenback. The Kenya shilling however strengthened against the Sterling Pound, Euro and South African Rand, up 0.189%, 0.090% and 1.597% respectively. Regionally, the Kenya Shilling gained against our Ugandan neighbours with each Kenya Shilling giving a mean of 29.795 Uganda shillings, a 0.1824% gain. The Kenya Shilling slipped slightly against the Tanzania one, down 0.0125% and continued the negative trend with the Rwanda Franc, losing 0.017% with each Kenya shilling trading for 7.2333 Rwanda Francs.
