Below is a table showing the performance of the Kenya Shilling against the major international currencies and the currencies of our neighbouring currencies in the last two trading sessions, Wednesday 13 June and Thursday 14 June 2012.

The Kenya Shilling gained value against the US Dollar in yesterday's trading, a 0.22% gain in value to trade at a mean of KES 85.2667. The Kenya Shilling lost 0.42% against the Euro in yesterday's trading to trade at a mean of KES 107.2368. The Shilling gained against the Sterling Pound and the South African Rand yesterday as well, up 0.43% and 0.09% respectively.

Regionally, the Kenya Shilling gained against all the currencies under our observation, up 0.14%, 0.22% and 0.09% against the Uganda and Tanzania Shillings and the Rwanda Franc respectively.
