Below is a table showing the performance of the Kenya Shilling against the major international currencies and the currencies of our neighbouring currencies in the last two trading sessions, Thursday 14 June and Friday 15 June, 2012.

As we can observe the Kenya Shilling gained against the US Dollar, the Sterling Pound, the SA Rand, the Uganda Shilling, the Tanzania Shilling and the Rwanda Franc, it however lost against the Euro.

Against the US Dollar the shilling gained 0.16 % to trade at an average of KES 85.131 per US Dollar. The Shilling lost 0.325% against the Euro to trade at an average of KES 107.585 per Euro. Our local currency gained 0.008% against the Sterling Pound to trade at an average of KES 132.32 per Pound.

On the regional front, the Kenyan Shilling gained 0.126%, 0.642%, 0.097% and 0.16% against the SA Rand, Uganda Shilling, Tanzania Shilling and Rwanda Franc respectively.
