From the above, we can see that the Kenya shilling slightly weakened against the US Dollar compared to the previous day, trading at a mean of KES 83.138 per dollar, down 0.014%. The shilling however strengthened versus the sterling pound, trading at a mean of KES 132.4216, up 0.3812%. The Euro also gained against the local currency, trading at a mean of KES 109.06 per Euro, up 0.1% against the local currency. The Kenyan shilling also gained ground against the South African Rand, the Tanzanian Shilling and the Rwandese Franc but marginally weakened against the Ugandan shilling.
