The Kenya Shilling continued its fall last week, losing points against the major international currencies and those of our neighbouring countries. The Shilling lost 0.0698% against the US Dollar to close the week trading at KES 85.3135 on average against the greenback. The Kenya Shilling lost 0.0968% and 0.2688% versus the Sterling Pound and the SA Rand. The Kenya Shilling expectedly gained against the Euro, up 0.2833% against the European currency in Friday's trading.
The Kenya Shilling dropped 0.0695% against the Uganda Shilling and 0.071% versus the Rwanda Franc. The Tanzania Shilling however lost ground against the Kenya Shilling, the local currency gaining 0.007% against our neighbours.
