The Kenya shilling weakened against the US dollar, down by 0.09% trading with a mean of KES 83.2903 per US dollar. The Kenya shilling however strengthened against the Sterling pound and the Euro, up 0.2% and 0.17% respectively, trading at a mean of KES 135.16 and KES 110.24. The rand gained ground against the Kenya shilling, up 0.04% meaning Kenyans had to fork out a little more for the Rainbow Nation’s currency. The Kenya shilling also slipped against the Tanzania shilling and the Uganda shilling, down 0.09% and 0.41% respectively. The shilling however gained versus the Rwanda Franc, up 0.24% with each Kenya shilling being traded for a mean of 7.2819 Rwanda Francs.
