From the above we can see that the Kenya shilling weakened against the US dollar requiring Kenyans to fork out 0.018% more for the greenback. The local currency weakened against the Sterling pound by 0.652%, requiring a Kenyan have to pay almost an extra shilling for each pound bought. The shilling strengthened marginally against the Euro, increasing in value by 0.000825%. The shilling strengthened against the South African rand by 0.468%. The Kenyan shilling weakened against the Ugandan shilling (0.1376%), the Tanzania shilling (0.2069%) and the Rwandan Franc as well (0.7601%).
