The Kenya shilling closed the week on the up, gaining strength against the US Dollar, the Euro and the South African Rand by 0.02%, 0.25% and 0.35% respectively. The Kenya shilling slipped slightly versus the Sterling Pound, down 0.03% to close the week at a mean of KES 143.6381 per pound. The Kenya shilling strengthened against the currencies of our neighbouring countries, up 0.018% against the Uganda Shilling, 0.018% against the Tanzania Shilling and up 0.68% against the Rwanda Franc.
