The Kenya Shilling continued its negative run against most of the currencies under our watch, putting an end to the gains made in Monday’s trading. The Kenya Shilling gained against the US Dollar in trading, up 0.186% yesterday. The shilling however lost value against the Euro, the Sterling Pound and the South African Rand, down 0.686%, 0.003% and 1.363% versus the international currencies respectively.
Regionally, the Kenya Shilling gained on the Uganda Shilling, up 0.2265% to traded at USHS 29.2008 per Kenya Shilling on average but lost 0.13% against the Tanzania Shilling. The Shilling gained on the Rwanda Franc, up 0.186% to close the day on the up.
