The Kenya shilling weakened marginally against the US Dollar, the Sterling Pound and the Euro, down by 0.029%, 0.18% and 0.29% respectively. The local currency also weakened against the South African Rand, down by 0.98%. The Kenya shilling continued this trend against the Uganda and Tanzania shilling and the Rwanda Franc as well, down by 0.187%, 0.018% and 0.028% respectively. Kenyans had to pay more and they received less, on average, for all the currencies above, compared to the previous day.
