The Kenya shilling gained marginally against the US Dollar, the Sterling Pound and the Euro, up by 0.013%, 0.152% and 0.244% respectively. The local currency also gained against the South African Rand, up by 0.379%. The Kenya shilling weakened against the Uganda and Tanzania shilling and the Rwanda Franc as well, down by 0.173%, 0.0141% and 0.0138% respectively. Kenyans had to pay more and they received less, on average, for all the currencies above, compared to the previous day.
