GOtv subscribers have for the longest time complained about GOtv excising channel bouquet, as it is evident in GOtv Kenya facebook page, this coming despite a recent reduction in GOtv monthly subscription rate, . Some subscribers have gone as far as to suggest an increase in the number of channels as opposed to reducing the monthly subscription rate.

There have been complains that GOtv offers few channels, while others claim that the current channel bouquet is boring.

GOtv has on several occasions promised its subscribers more channel, 41 channels to be precise. 21 of these channels are to be those favouring on GOtv and 20 which are free to air channels. Months down the line and this promise is yet to be realized.

Currently GOtv subscribers have access to 21 channels, these include: KBC, KTN, NTV, Citizen, EAT, Kiss TV, QTV, Kass Select Super Sport, Africa Magic Movies, Africa Magic Swahili, Africa Magic World, Al Jazeera, Channel O, Discovery World, E! Entertainment, etv Africa, Kidsco, One Gospel, Style, TBN,

In April 2012, GOtv increased its monthly subscription rate from KES 585 to KES 720. It only seemed practical that an increase in number of channels would accompany the increase in monthly rate; no channels were added to the excising channel bouquet.

Perhaps the reduction on the monthly subscription rate to KES 599 justifies the number of channels GOtv currently offers its subscribers.

GOtv still promisses its subscribers that more channels will be rolled out in the future.
