Measures taken by the Central Bank of Kenya to lower inflation rates are paying off significantly. KNBS announced this morning that the inflation rates for March 2012 stand at 15.61%, a decline from 16.69% in February 2012.
The food prices have increased by 20.3% with the price of 500 ml of milk retailing at an average price of KES 38 in March 2012 compared to KES 34 in February, a rise of 11.8%
