Join Safaricom’s Postpay Plan and Save

Did you know that you actually spend more as a Safaricom Prepay subscriber as compared to being a Postpay subscriber?

Under the Postpay plan you will enjoy competitive tariff rates plus the convenience of monthly billing.

What are the benefits of being a Postpay subscriber?

Under the KES 1,000 (Postpay 1000) plan you will get:

900 On-net minutes will cost you (900 X 4) = KES 3,600 while on prepay option.

100 Off-net minutes will cost you (100 x 5) = KES 500 while on the prepay option.

100 On-net SMS will cost you (100 x 1) = KES 100 while on the prepay option.

You will save more than KES 3,200 while on Postpay for the above services, plus the 100 MB data is virtually free.

3,600 + 500 + 100 = KES 4,200

4,200 – 1,000= KES 3,200

Under the KES 2,500 (Post 2500) plan you will get:

2,200 On-net minutes will cost you (2,200 x 4) = KES 8,800 while on prepay option.

300 Off-net minutes will cost you (300 x 5) = KES 1,500 while on prepay option

250 On-net SMS will cost you (250 x 1) = KES 250 while on prepay option

You will save more KES 8,050 while on the Postpay plan for the above services, plus the 250 MB data is virtually free

8,800 + 1,500 + 250 = KES 10,550

10,550 – 2,500 = KES 8,050

The bundles are valid for a month and any unutilized monthly bundle resource will be carried over to the next month.

In case you use up all your bundle resources you will still be able to make calls, send SMS and use data equivalent to your deposit.

To subscribe to Postpay 1000, you will pay an initial deposit of KES 1,000 plus an additional KES 1,000 for the monthly bundle cost. For the Postpay 2500, you will pay an initial deposit of KES 2,500 plus an additional monthly bundle cost of KES 2,500.

It is actually cheaper subscribing to the Postpay plan as compared to being subscribed to Prepay plan.
