Statistics from Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) show Kenya’s overall inflation rate for the month of October 2012 has dropped to 4.14 per cent from 5.32 per cent in September 2012.
Kenya’s year-on—year inflation rate has been on a downward trend for the past 11 months from 19.72 per cent in November 2011.
The last time Kenya’s inflation rate dropped below the 5 per cent mark was in December 2010 when the inflation rate stood at 4.51 per cent.
