The charges, popularly known as Hot Deals are as follows:
*Charges are based on data collected from KQ and Travel Start Kenya. Ticket prices may change as per KQ’s preferences.
The move follows KQ’s less than stellar customer numbers for the 2nd quarter of 2012. The airliner carried 9.6% less passengers on local routes this year compared to the same period in 2011. KQ has since introduced a 3rd plane early last month which was part of KQ’s expansion plan.
The courier recently decided to re-introduce a low budget carrier to operate on the local routes later this year. KQ and budget operator Fly540 received approval from Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) to launch low-cost flights in the region using narrow body, short haul airliners.
