M-Pesa systems have been down since noon.

A tweet from safaricom Limited said:

"We are experiencing an outage on M-PESA affecting handset transactions. Teams are working to restore. Inconvenience is highly regretted."

I sincerely hope that the systems would soon be up and running, my lunch money is in my M-Pesa account
