A new payment system dubbed Unipesa, is to be launched soon.

Unipesa is a system that will enable you to settle your bills through a self service kiosk. All you will have to do is to enter the bill details or the service that needs to be paid for on a touch screen, insert cash of the desired amount into the machine and get you’re bill settled.

Services that will be paid for through Unipesa include:

• Zuku and DStv  subscription fees

• Purchasing airtime for Safaricom, YU, Orange, Airtel etc
• Pay utility bills like electricity and water

The pilot phase will be rolled out next week and the service is expected to be officially launched in a month’s time.
