Some of the key highlights were:
The NSE 20 Share Index gained 3.8% to close at 4016 compared to 3868 in October while the NSE All Share Index gained 4.72% to close at 143 compared to 137 in October.
Equity Turnover for the month of November dropped by 26.28% to KES 13.15 billion compared to KES 17.84 billion in October. Bond Turnover fell 36.45% to KES 19 billion compared to 30 billion traded in October.
Number of shares traded in November fell by 18.33% to 441 million compared to 540 million traded in October. Market Cap rose by 4.51% to KES 2.02 billion compared to 1.93 billion in October.
Foreign investor activity represented 66.86% of total equity traded . Safaricom Limited was the most actively traded counter by foreign investors followed by Equity Bank, KCB, Barclays Bank Kenya and Cooperative Bank.
