Pay Your KAPS Parking Ticket With Airtel Money

Airtel Kenya and Kenya Airport Parking Services (KAPS) have launched a three year partnership that will allow Airtel customers to pay for their tickets using Airtel Money at parking spaces run by KAPS. This new service is aimed at reducing time wasted on payment queues  at malls, supermarkets and airports.

Airtel Kenya Managing Director Shivan Bhargava said the new service will change the way customers pay for their parking fees by making it an easier, faster and more convenient experience.

“There will be different phases of the evolution of this service. We’ve seen a lot of jams on the Nairobi roads and we’ve all experienced long queues at the mall as well so we want to completely decongest them,” he said.

The payment service is already available at Capital Center, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Yaya Center, Junction, Sarit Center and Westgate. Customers will be able to pay for other ticketing services which are available on their online ticket portal at www.kapstickets.com.

To access the service, a customer has to send the nine digit code that is on the KAPS parking ticket to the number 113 and complete the payment by sending money to the pay bill business name “KAPS” from the Airtel Money menu. The payment procedure takes normal Airtel money pay bill process.
