Safaricom has unveiled its 3G Router designed for home internet users. Dubbed Internet Nyumbani, the router is retailing at KES 5,999 and comes with 4 GB free data. The router has Wi-Fi capabilities and can also give access to cable connection. It can also support up to 10 users who can all connect to the internet simultaneously.

For convenience, users can dial *544# from their Safaricom mobile phone and chose to purchase bundles either through airtime or M-Pesa. The bundles will then be transferred to the number on the 3G Router.
