Mobile phone subscribers on the Safaricom network will get a 50% bonus airtime when they top up from the operator's mobile money service M-Pesa. This is a top-up to the May 10% bonus that the company has been offering on purchase of airtime from M-Pesa.

The 10% bonus offer ends today, but the new 50% offer will be applicable to all purchases of airtime from M-Pesa this Friday. Both options, buying to own phone and buying for another number will earn a bonus of 50%.

The offer will run only on Madaraka Day, 1st of June.
