Stocks to watch today include:
- Mumias Sugar Limited: News of their new managing director is expected to affect how the share performs in today’s trading. Yesterday the counter was the biggest gainer with the share price increasing by 8.82% to close at KES 5.55.
- Kenya Airways: The share remains of interest with it trading at the rights price (KES 14), making the decision for many shareholders to exercise their rights trickier than would have been desired.
- Scangroup Limited: The market services company released its financial results boasting a 42% rise in profits (read that story here). This is sure to affect the share, which reported a 4.75% loss in value against expectations that the news of profits would put upward pressure on the share.
